On 10th December 2025, Abuja hosted a landmark event for Nigeria’s healthcare system; the Basic Healthcare Provision Fund (BHCPF) Monitoring, Learning, and Evaluation (MLE) Project Dissemination Meeting. The gathering brought together stakeholders from the National Emergency Medical Services and Ambulance System (NEMSAS), Federal Emergency Medical Services and Ambulance System (FEMSAS), National Health Insurance Agency (NHIA), National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA), and the private sector partner Sydani Group, all united by a common goal: improving healthcare delivery through better data management.

On Monday, September 29, 2025, government leaders, development partners, and public health experts from across Nigeria gathered in Abuja for a transformative national learning event themed “Reimagining Routine Immunization in Nigeria: Leveraging Technology for Zero-Dose Reduction”, and organized by the STRICAN (Strengthening Routine Immunization in Consequential Geographies of Niger State) team of Sydani group.
The Pre-Service Teacher Education Project (Pre-STEP) was designed to transform how teachers are trained by equipping pre-service teachers with the pedagogy, content knowledge and technology needed for effective 21st-century teaching.
The STRICAN Abuja learning program served not just as a review of progress but as a springboard for national transformation. It demonstrated that technology, when harnessed through collaboration and grounded in community realities, can close the zero-dose gap and secure healthier futures for Nigeria’s children.
