We are humbled to have received a special achievement award at the USAID Integrated Health Program annual review meeting and award ceremony which held yesterday, 3rd February 2023, at the Abuja Continental Hotel.
The award was presented in recognition of our achievement on the USAID-IHP COVID-19 Vaccination Ramp Up Program where we delivered 2.1 million COVID-19 vaccinations in Bauchi, Kebbi, Sokoto, Ebonyi and FCT from July to December 2022 and significantly contributed to Sokoto State reaching 80% and Kebbi 74% of fully vaccinated eligible populations.
The USAID-IHP COVID-19 Vaccination Ramp-Up Program, of which Sydani is an implementing partner, was designed to give priority to Five (5) states (Bauchi, Ebonyi, FCT, Kebbi, and Sokoto) to get extraordinary broad-based support for COVID-19 vaccine ramp-up in line with the states’ plan using the National SCALES strategy.
We wish to express our gratitude to our partners IHP, USAID, and Palladium without whom we would not have been able to attain these feats.
